Arhangay
关于此地
Chuluut River Gorge is a deep canyon in Arkhangai where the Chuluut River cuts through dark basalt formed by ancient lava flows. The rim reveals a striking contrast of river, conifer forest and wide Khangai grassland, making it a memorable stop on journeys around Tariat, Khorgo and Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake.
最佳游览时间
June to September is generally the most comfortable period for green scenery and access. Visit early or late in the day for softer light; check local weather and road conditions outside the summer season.
如何前往
Travel through Arkhangai toward the Tariat and Khorgo-Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur area. The final approach and viewpoints can depend on seasonal road conditions, so use current local guidance and a suitable vehicle.
须知
The gorge was cut into basalt associated with the volcanic landscapes around Khorgo. Bring drinking water, layers for fast-changing weather and offline navigation; facilities may be limited away from soum centres.
安全
Keep well back from steep or unstable canyon edges, supervise children closely and avoid entering fast or cold river water. Respect any local access guidance, livestock and protected-site rules.
附近
Combine a visit with Khorgo Volcano, Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake and Tariat soum. These sites are often visited as part of an Arkhangai highland itinerary.
