Dundgovi

この場所について

Tsagaan Suvarga, also known as the White Stupa, is a striking sedimentary escarpment in Ulziit soum, Dundgovi. Wind and rain have shaped its layered cliffs over millennia, creating a landscape that resembles the ruins of an ancient city from afar.

訪問に適した時期

June–September brings the most reliable access conditions; sunset reveals the strongest colours in the cliffs.

行き方

Tsagaan Suvarga is in Ulziit soum, Dundgovi. Arrange a capable local driver or 4WD vehicle and confirm road conditions before leaving the main road.

知っておくこと

Stay on established tracks and viewpoints. The layered cliffs and surrounding steppe are fragile; take all waste with you.

安全

The area is remote and exposed to wind. Carry water, fuel, navigation and warm layers, and avoid approaching unstable cliff edges.
