Khan Bayanzurkh Khairkhan, also known as Khusliin Khar Uul, is a distinctive dark mountain ridge in the open eastern Gobi landscape. The approach and summit area are valued for wide views, local spiritual traditions and the dramatic contrast between the ridgeline and surrounding steppe.

April–June and September–October offer more comfortable temperatures and clearer conditions for visiting the ridge.

Travel with a local driver to the access point, then follow the established pedestrian route. Confirm the final approach and any local access guidance before leaving the nearest settlement.

Khan Bayanzurkh Khairkhan is also known as Khusliin Khar Uul. Respect local customs, stay on the marked path and avoid disturbing the rocky slopes or leaving waste behind.
